World Beer Cup

The World Beer Cup is an international beer brewer’s competition. For over 25 years, its mission is to increase awareness and diversity among beers around the world. This every-other-year competition is open to both large and small breweries. The competition honors three beers in over 70 categories with gold, sliver and bronze awards.

 

The 2006 World Beer Cup (WBC) had 2,221 entries from breweries in 56 countries. The WBC is the global stage by which brewers worldwide showcase their beer in 85 different beer-style categories.

 

The 2005 Great American Beer Festival had 2,335 entries from breweries in 69 categories. This yielded an average of 34 beers in each category with 2006 total medals awarded.

 

 Whitetail Ale

- 2006 Gold Medal winner at the World Beer cup in the Blonde Ale Category.

 

Cleary Red

- 2005 Bronze Medal winner at the Great American Beer Festival in the Irish Red Category.

 

Schwarzbier

- 2005 Bronze Medal winner at the Great American Beer Festival.

- 2004 Gold Medal winner at the World Beer Cup.

 

Blackbird Stout

- 2006 Bronze Medal winner at the World Beer Cup in the Oatmeal Stout Category.
